Just pull it out in the same manner as mentioned. You can use some tweezers to free the printer from a tiny piece of paper.

The printer will be shown as an Unknown Device if you plug the cable in prior to installing the driver software. This happens due to an issue with the ink cartridge. To resolve the issue, you need to open the printer to the ink bar, and then press the ink cartridge eject button. After accessing the faulty ink cartridges, check the bottom. If you find that the plastic film on the bottom of the cartridge is cloudy, probably the cartridge is blocked, and you need to clean it.
