Like it or not, Twitter is at last having an edit button. The organization confirms that it commenced functioning on an edit button in 2021, and that it will check the element with paid Twitter Blue consumers in the coming months.

Twitter announced the new feature on April 1st, understanding that men and women would think it is a joke. The enterprise just adopted up with a suitable announcement, including a trailer online video showing the edit button in action.

When the edit button’s intent is very apparent (it lets you edit tweets), we’re not totally confident how the attribute will operate. In the greatest-scenario state of affairs, Twitter will allow for users to see any edits that have been made to a tweet, thus minimizing confusion on the platform and restricting the distribute of misinformation.

Twitter indirectly clarified that Elon Musk has absolutely nothing to do with the edit button. Musk recently acquired a 9% stake in the company (though ignoring SEC trade rules) and was appointed to its board of directors. He also shared a poll inquiring buyers if they wished an edit button, to which most responded “yes.”

We’re not positive when the edit button will start, even though it really should arrive in the coming months. At the time of its launch, it will only be out there to paying Twitter Blue people.
